Update by user Jan 10
This is the update and how consumers get RIPPED off. I purchased my car 4/21/2015 for 3957.00 was given a clean title.
Wisconsin DMV Consumer Service unit revalued my car at 1457.00 and issued my salvage title. That is a loss of 2500.00 and car worth salvage. I found out that for copy on title transfer Kolosso Toyota. 3000 West Wisconsin Ave Appleton WI.54914 Sales: (877) 756-2297 Wisconsin.https://www.kolossotoyota.com/ Adjured my car from Fox Valley Auctions.
A Dealership of this size sells new cars, used cars, full service department etc. Has responsibly to perfect title they did not they pasted car to Area auto stating it did not fit there car assortment. Passing my loss of 2500.00 loss for car that was a total loss and restored. I have a car that is worth 700.00 .
Please contact Kolosso and let them know that it they did not perfect title or did they just got rid of problem 2500.00 is a lot for me..Maybe there business process. Help, Jeffery

I am really pissed out at Wisconsin department of transportation and Ultimate rides . Ultimate ride in fox valley did not report to DMV my car had salvage title.
So the received clean title not the salvage when paid 3957.00 Car fax Adjusted retail 2367.00 different of 1590.00.State DMV looked in to it 2 years and finally said Ultimate ride would pay me 700.00. I now have a salvaged tile my car is worth 1475.00. Ultimate rides ripped me off By whipping title clean until brand title caught my car. They pay me 1590.00 to make things right.
2014 Wisconsin Statutes 342.07 Title for repaired salvage vehicle Application for registration of and a new certificate of title for a repaired salvage vehicle must be accompanied by all of the following: (a) The required fees. (b) A properly assigned salvage certificate of title or a properly assigned certificate of title by a dealer under s. 342.16 (1) (a) for the vehicle. (c) Any other transfer document required by law.
(d) The certificate of inspection under sub. (4). (2) A repaired salvage vehicle may not be registered or be issued a new certificate of title until an inspector authorized by the department examines it for the following, as specified in rules promulgated by the department: (a) To determine whether the vehicle is the same vehicle for which the title submitted under sub. (1) was issued; (b) To verify the source and ownership of the major parts and components used to recondition the vehicle.
Title washing hides the history of a vehicle thats been salvaged. Salvage titles are assigned to cars that are deemed a total loss by insurance companies. This is also referred to as branding a vehicle. This doesnt mean the car cant be driven but vehicles branded with salvage titles have lower market values and are difficult to sell.
Title washing washes away a vehicles branding.
Once the branding is eliminated, the cars value goes up and its a lot easier to sell. You can see why so many car owners might be motivated to wash their titles.
Reason of review: Damaged or defective.
Monetary Loss: $1590.
Preferred solution: Price reduction.
